Acupuncture 'helps women have babies'New research has found that acupuncture can help women undergoing fertility treatments to become pregnant.Researchers from the University of Southampton, UK, have discovered that One in three women given acupucnture alongside their IVF treatments successfully conceive. The success rate among those who did not combine fertility treatment with acupuncture was one in five. The researchers concluded that Acupuncture around the time of embryo transfer achieves a higher live birth rate of 35 per cent compared with 22 per cent without active acupuncture.
